Commissioned by the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, this is an hour long program traveling through the history of both music and musical instruments.

Created in collaboration with director Philipp J. Neumann, this program has the four musicians acting as lumberjacks discovering what they can do with wood musically. From Vivaldi's Four Seasons on two recorders, tuned wood, and tuned nails, through Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, all the way to Hindemith, Bernstein and Queen (with some original music in between) the listener is presented with a wide variety of musical styles and instrument combinations.
