Originally composed (Dominik Schulz-winds/front ensemble and Eli Case-battery/sound effects) for the 75th Anniversary of the Russellville Marching 100, “Forever Golden” is an uplifting and vibrant show built around the concept of gold.

 

The opener features a medley of “Ecstasy of Gold” from The Good the Bad and the Ugly by Ennio Morricone, “Gold” by Imagine Dragons, and a stock arrangement of “24K” by Bruno Mars. “Plain Gold Ring” by Nina Simone provides a lush yet driving ballad. This is followed by a percussion break using “House of Gold” by 21 Pilots. A reprise of “Gold” gives the show a strong and memorable finish.
