FEATURED CHAMBER MUSIC

Beethoven Symphony 5

Beethoven's iconic fifth symphony arranged for bassoon quartet. Four bassoons become three and contrabassoon starting with the third movement, engulfing the audience in the full sonic spectrum of the bassoon quartet.

Knowing what is happening in the orchestra during important excerpts is key to building a proper interpretation. These trios allow the student to hear what is happening without the need for an entire orchestra.

Art of Communication

"Since the beginning of time, the human race has had the need to find ways to communicate." Composers Dominik Schulz and Cole Williams used this nugget of information to create an original composition for Lebanon High School.

Using Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar, Hello by Adele, and Hotline Bling by Drake this exciting production chronicles the evolution of communication from handwritten notes through the digital age.

Dreams

Originally composed (Dominik Schulz - winds/front ensemble and Eli Case - battery/sound effects) for Humble High School, “Sweet Dreams” explores the different aspects of dreams.

The opener combines the Sleeping Beauty and Nutcracker ballets by Pyotr Tchaikovsky with “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics. The ballad is an original composition by Dominik and Eli that continues the dream theme. The closer is comprised entirely of riffs of “Sweet Dreams” woven into original music.
